福山出展を終えて -After the exhibition in Fukuyama City-

先日、ふくやま手しごと市での出展を無事終えました。

福山では初出展でした。

事前準備も色々としながらも、結局は出展前日まで服を作っていて、当日の出発まで結構バタバタでした。

出展中は、たくさんの方とお話ができました。

初めて見たBALANGEの服に対して、好きなところだけではなくそうでないところも含めて

色々な方の話を聞けたのはとても良かったです。

人と話すことはそんなに得意じゃないのですが、服のことになるとスッと言葉が出てくる自分にも驚きました。

ありがたいことに、幅広い年齢層の方々に袖を通していただけたりデザインを気に入っていただけて、

BALANGEのコンセプトを服に伝えられていたことを感じられた瞬間でもありました。

出展初日にもまた服を作りたくなって、作業場に戻ってから作って翌日新作を出展してみたり…。

普段作業場に籠って製作している時には得られない躍動感のようなものを感じたので、

いただいたエネルギーはまた次の製作に活かそうと思います。

寒い中ご来場いただいた皆様、今回の出展で服を気に入ってご購入くださった方々、ありがとうございました。

これから色々な場所で出展もしていこうと思っています。

The other day, we successfully completed our exhibition at the Fukuyama Handmade Goods Market.

It was our first time to exhibit in Fukuyama.

Although we did a lot of advance preparation, we ended up making clothes until the day before the exhibition, and we were pretty busy until we left on the day of the exhibition.

During the exhibition, I was able to talk with many people.

I was able to talk to many people who had never seen BALANGE’s clothes before, not only about what they liked about them, but also about what they did not like.

It was great to hear from so many people.

I am not very good at talking to people, but I was surprised at how quickly my words came out when it came to clothes.

Thankfully, people of all ages were able to wear the sleeves and liked the designs,

It was a moment when I felt that the concept of BALANGE and my own thoughts and feelings were conveyed in the clothes.

Even on the first day of the exhibition, I felt like making clothes again, so I went back to the workshop and made them and exhibited new ones the next day….

I felt a kind of dynamism that I usually don’t get when I’m making clothes in my workshop,

I will use the energy I received for my next production.
