BALANGEの拠点 -BALANGE Locations-

BALANGEは現在、広島県福山市沼隈町で製作をしています。

沼隈町は自然に恵まれたゆったりとした美しい場所で、

山に囲まれ海も近く、大きなビルがないとても静かですごしやすい町です。

外食チェーン店がなく、宅配ピザも配達圏外。

そういう不便さも、この町が好きな要素の一つです。

以前は山口県に住んでいました。

山口県は出身地でもあります。

その頃の話は、また別の機会に書こうと思います。

沼隈に住みはじめてもうすぐ１年になります。

作業場にも少しづつ改良を重ねて、快適な環境で服作りができるようになりました。

煮詰まると、山に登ったり海を眺めたりして

自分の頭を整理したり、見える風景からインスピレーションをもらったりしています。

自分と向き合う時間をたくさんもらえる環境であることが、拠点とする場所の大切な要素になっています。

これから新しい店舗兼アトリエを構えようと思っていて、

地元の方に協力していただきながら物件を探しています。

1年ほど経って、地元の方々とも少しずつ繋がりができてきました。

元々人とコミュニケーションを取るのが苦手なのですが、

その時話して気づくことがあったり、新しく人と繋がっていくとまた別の広がりが出てきたり、

人のおかげで何かを好きになる瞬間があったりして、いろんな発想が生まれたりもしています。

近くに美味しいワインを揃えている酒屋さんや美味しい豆を揃えているコーヒー店もあるので、

アトリエにお越しいただいたお客様がゆっくりと過ごしていただけるような店舗を作りたいと思っています。

BALANGE is currently manufacturing in Numakuma-cho, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Numakuma-cho is a relaxing and beautiful place blessed with nature,
Surrounded by mountains and close to the sea, it is a quiet and comfortable town with no large buildings.
There are no restaurant chains, and pizza delivery is out of range.
This inconvenience is one of the factors I like about this town.

I used to live in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Yamaguchi Prefecture is also where I was born.
I will write about those days another time.

It has been almost a year since I started living in Numakuma.
I have made a few improvements to my workshop and can now make clothes in a comfortable environment.

When I get stuck, I climb a mountain or look out at the ocean.
I organize my mind and get inspiration from the scenery I see.
The environment gives me a lot of time to face myself, which is an important factor for me in finding a place to base myself.

I am planning to set up a new store and studio,
I am looking for a property with the help of local people.
After about a year, I have gradually developed a connection with the local people.

I am not good at communicating with people by nature,
I sometimes realize things by talking to them at that time, and when I connect with new people, I find another expansion,
I have moments when I fall in love with something thanks to other people, and many ideas are born.

There is a liquor store nearby that stocks delicious wines and a coffee shop that stocks delicious beans,
We would like to create a store where customers can spend time when they visit our atelier.
